Our commitment

Tristate Health is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or who prefer reduced motion.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

Specific measures built into this site include:

• Semantic structure, with one main heading per page and a logical heading order.
• A skip-to-content link as the first item on every page.
• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Text and interface colours that meet the WCAG AA contrast requirements.
• Touch targets at least 44 by 44 pixels.
• A visible label on every form field, with errors described in text rather than by colour alone.
• Frequently asked questions rendered in the page itself, so they are readable without JavaScript.
• Motion that respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
• Layouts that work from 360 pixels wide upwards without horizontal scrolling or loss of content.

How we test

Accessibility is not a one-time check. As the site changes we test with automated tooling against WCAG 2.1 AA, with keyboard-only navigation, and across multiple browsers and screen sizes, and we fix what we find.

Known limitations

Booking a call is handled by a third-party scheduling provider on its own page. We chose a provider that takes accessibility seriously, but we do not control that page. If you have difficulty booking, call us and we will schedule the call with you directly.
