Value-based care questions

More answers →
What is value-based care, and should a small practice join an ACO?

Value-based care pays practices for keeping patients healthy, not just for the number of visits. Joining an ACO can add shared savings income, and it works best with the reporting and care coordination to hit quality targets.

What is the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP)?

MSSP is Medicare's main ACO program. Groups of providers that improve quality and keep costs below a benchmark for their Medicare patients can share in the savings.

What is a Medicare Annual Wellness Visit?

A yearly Medicare visit focused on prevention and planning, not a head-to-toe physical. It's one of the best ways to close care gaps and improve quality scores.

Do we need new software for value-based care?

Usually not. We work from your EMR and payer reports to build one clear view of gaps and measures.
